There is something about running in the fall weather that just makes those miles fly by! I went on a run today, which was only 8.4 miles, which sadly is a long run for me. It's hard to make myself go slowly after being injured, but I know I need to focus and stay disciplined or I'll just get injured again. Even today when I ran I could feel my IT band and my hips starting to get sore, but the good news is that my IT band and my hips did not hurt later today while I was walking around town ...

Life is getting a little bit crazier, but I actually feel like I'm getting more control! I think I finally got my act together with medical school. It took a combination of my dad and my boyfriend to show me that I better not screw up this opportunity! Luckily, I realized that I needed to get better with my schedule before I ruined anything with school because I was still passing all my classes.
