After the LifeTime Triathlon series announced that they cut their pro prize purse and the 5150 series was also cut, I was left with very few options for pro races that wouldn't blow the bank because of plane ticket prices. After remembering what a great time my pro triathlete friend Abby Geurink had at TriRock Philly, I decided to look into the race. Rain and the Grand Rapids Triathlon

My goal today was to get this blog about the Grand Rapids Triathlon
done, so here goes! First of all, I want to address the penalty that I

Dallas Triathlon... I mean, Duathlon

This has been a tough post-race write up to get started and I've deleted
what I have started multiple times. After I competed in the Milwaukee
Super Sprint, I became much more interested in the draft-legal format.
Maybe it was the former soccer player in me, but the strategy involved
was new and interesting. I used some of my prize money from the 2014
season and bought an aero road bike on an end of season sale at a local

The Season Open - Back To Where It All Began

I figured I should break the ice and get started on my blog posts for
the year! Especially since I am in the midst of 3 races in a row!
Where to start? I had planned to start my season much earlier this
year, but the race I had chosen was cancelled. I had played around with
