School, food and training...

Life is getting a little bit crazier, but I actually feel like I'm getting more control!  I think I finally got my act together with medical school.  It took a combination of my dad and my boyfriend to show me that I better not screw up this opportunity!  Luckily, I realized that I needed to get better with my schedule before I ruined anything with school because I was still passing all my classes.  Now I realize that I can either workout of I can watch TV, and I was trying to do both.  I don't know why the TV was calling to me, I think it had something to do with my discovery of this show called NCIS.  I love shows like that and for some reason I fell in love with it and started watching 3 hour marathons, instead of studying.  But, like I said, I now have a much better handle on everything.  I get my schedule from my coach and then I figure out when I'm going to workout.  It is usually better if I workout before class, which means some early mornings, but I am getting more used to early mornings!  Especially since I'm planning to start some spin classes at 6 am!  And I think I am finally getting this food thing right.  Going to a high protein diet takes some work, but with the right tools in the form of good groceries and delicious tasting power bars, I'm finally making it all come together!
